AUXILIARY SUPPORTS PADDLEFEST

 

Three facilities and a Public Affairs Booth were provided by Division 5 Auxiliarist's in support of the 8th Annual Ohio River Way Paddlefest.  Almost a thousand kayaks and canoes and 2000 onlookers made for a spectacular - and best of all - safe few hours on the river Saturday morning, 27 June.

Cameron Cord, Jory Edlin, Jack Kleymeyer, and Gene Finke provided the facilities, crewed by Dan Stroup, Ray Fiedler, Carol Hackett, Ruth Tudor, Penny Carpenter, Craig Keller, Ann Leistner, Ken Beiser, Steve Bahrani, David Leistner, Greg Rusk (trainee).  Ted Parr provided PATCOM support. On shore, Nancy Parr, Ron Pope, Ed Kendall and Mort Mullins delivered the boating safety message from a booth on the Serpentine Wall.
