VE Day at Four Seasons Marina a Big Success - (Photo)


Four VEs and two trainees from Division 5 participated in a Vessel Examination event at Four Seasons Marina on Saturday, May 30. Gary Rutherford, FSO-VE, along with Mort Mullins and trainees Gene Finke and Ann Liestner  represented 5-4. In addition, David and Ruth Liestner from 5-5 were there (as they always are!) The Power Squadron had 5 Examiners - a total of 9 plus two trainees with almost 90 boat owners signed up. The 4+2 from the Auxiliary ended they day at 1730 (started at 9am) with 63 VSCs completed. This marina has mostly very well prepared boaters and very few problems were detected. The Four Seasons Yacht Club (the sponsors) even had Cintas there to check and service fire systems.
